Criminal Investigations Certificate is a program that takes about one year to complete. The classes that I took were child investigations, Title IX investigations, Cold cases and many more. I truly believe that what I learned while getting this certificat
Goals and interests
- Career goal
Ever since I can remember I wanted to be a Prosecutor. I feel that most people go into it for the financial benefits, however, I want to be one so that I can truly help victims receive the justice that they deserve. I want to specialize in sex crimes because I feel that here victims, especially women do not feel seen or heard. I want to help victims receive justice. I am in Grad school so that once I graduate I can go to law school and work in my field at the same time.

As far as nonacademic achievements, I feel that I have achieved a lot in philanthropy. Every Christmas I run a drive for a women's shelter. I collect food, home goods, toilet trees and more for the shelter. However, most of the women are moms, and I always see toy drives but nothing for the hard working mothers. Therefore, I decided to take it a step further and create each of the mothers at the shelter a Christmasq bag filled with gifts. I asked for donations such as makeup, jewelry, fuzzy socks etc. I then decided to take a step further and create another donation drive for when it is each of the mothers birthdays. They will receive gifts and a cake. I am still working with them.
