About

My name is Kelsey Tabor, I am a first generation college student. I graduated from UTSA with a bachelor of arts in psychology in December 2020, and continue to pursue my studies in January 2021 with a master of education in Curriculum, and, Instruction, as I intended to become a school counselor in the future. My plans for a career changed, when I realized that the school setting was not where I sit in best, as I wanted a more personal relationship with my students, on a psychiatric/counseling level. It was from then on that I decided I would continue my studies after this masters program, which I completed in December of this year, and go on to pursue a doctorate of psychology after receiving an executive certification of psychology. I want to eventually have a career as a licensed professional counselor, primarily serving children and young adults.
