About
I am currently 21 years old and a student at Bergen Community College. Before transferring to Bergen, I attended a different school as a biology major. While my time at that school was relatively short, it was helpful. As a biology major, I took mainly science classes, which proved to be beneficial in each of the classes I have taken so far at Bergen. Just goes to show that even though that was not the right school for me, everything happens for a reason.
Ever since I was younger I was completely in love with animals. I would, and still do, watch all the animal shows on television. There have been countless animals in my house, some were loving pets that lived out their lives here and others were rehabbed and released. Each one impacting my life in a different way and confirming that I as made to work with animals. I'm a firm believer in the saying "love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life".

Having successfully completed Spanish 1 through 4 honors in high school, I was accepted into the Spanish Honor Society.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
Studying to be a veterinary technician is something I have wanted for quite some time now. The program that I have been accepted to will give me plenty of time and experience with companion animals, such as dogs and cats, and farm animals. However, my ultimate career goal is to work in a zoo. I want to work with the rare, exotic, and even potentially dangerous animals. I want to keep them safe and enlighten people on what they can do to save some of the world's more endangered animals.

Some of my hobbies include: cooking, baking, reading, hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, travelling and road trips, movie nights with friends
