About

I'm a twenty-one year old college student, and I've been greatly blessed. I give all glory to God for blessing me with all He has. He's given me a wonderful family who love me and want me to succeed. He's blessed me with scholarships and a valuable job to put me through my first few years of college. He's blessed me with exceptional grades and perseverance in my academic endeavors. Most of all, He's blessed me with His presence in my life, protecting me, providing for me, and comforting me through all I've done. I know I can do anything through Christ who strengthens me.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to become a Physical Therapist. When I was a small child, I had a rapid growth spurt that caused both of my hips to dislocate. I had to have therapy for a long time afterward and continue it at home even when I stopped going regularly to the clinic. The Physical Therapist who treated me helped me walk and move my legs again in a time in which I was very scared that I could be paralyzed. I believe God allows things to happen to us in life to prepare us for our future or to point us down the right path, and I intend to go where He points me.

Graduate school interests

I expect to continue my education at William Carey University after graduating with a bachelor's degree in biology. I endeavor to earn my doctorate in physical therapy to bring comfort and healing to others as I was once comforted and healed. God has blessed me with the ability to attend a Christian University that's not far from my home and offers a program in which I hope to make my career.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy an extensive variety of activities that include swimming, hiking, running, fishing, reading, writing, painting, gardening, primping, watching Christian comedy and sermons, caring for and playing with my dogs, spending time with my family, and spending time with God.
