About

I am currently a international student pursuing my Undergraduate degree at Savannah State University. My field of study is Global Logistics and International business. My love for international trade and logistics started on one of my first job experiences. Before I decided to become a full time student at Savannah State University I worked at a shipping dock as a customs agent's assistant and became very interested in the transportation sector. I also decided to work as an airline agent for BahamasAir and became fascinated with the business. This is when I decided to change my major from Economics and Finance to Logistics and International Business. I became intrigued with supply and demand and I loved the feeling of being in control of the processes that got people where they needed, what they needed, at efficient times. I fell in love with logistical processes and decided that I wanted to make it my career. Also International relations are becoming more prevalent in which highly qualified international managers are needed to regulate business processes.I currently work at Savannah State University for The Auxiliary services Transportation department and in someways it has allowed me to pursue my career. Once graduated I hope to pursue my career in logistical management and international business and someday open my own company.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Once graduated I plan to take on a career path where my expertise may be needed. The job path I would take would be that of a operations manager, project manager or management analyst. My ultimate goal is to be a consultant of business operations to help improve industries. I would like to deal with forecasting and improve sectors of business that have inefficiencies using strategic management .

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interest are either Georgia Southern or Savannah State University.

Outside the classroom

My hobbies include making electronic music. I enjoy composing my own music. I've been playing the keyboard from age 5 and now I'm 23. I've played for many different types of churches as well as my high school growing up. I also enjoy listening to people's songs and playing my own versions of it. I enjoy playing sports such as basketball, soccer, football and softball. I also go to the gym in my spare time. I also enjoy learning other languages. I am not fluent but I enjoy learning things from different cultures. I've started to learn both Mandarin and Spanish although not fluent yet, I'm thinking of pursuing both languages. I also like recreational activities such as fishing, jogging, playing golf and I also like to travel.
