About
Hello, I am from Maryville, Tennessee and am now currently in school for Occupational Therapy. I have a passion for the empathetic and creative nature of this field. I have goals to push boundaries and create wonderful new treatments in OT enabling and treating those who have never been reached before.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to finish my COTA associates degree and licensure in 2025. Afterwards I would like to go back to school and complete a masters degree and earn my OTR licensure.
- Graduate school interests
I think grad school would be of my interest considering I have big interest and passion for OT and I would like to join the national board and bring treatment to disparaged individuals of a lower socioeconomic status.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy being outdoors in nature some of my hobbies consist of hiking, kayaking, running, gardening, and yoga.
I have a big interest in the mental health field so I often read books and research mental health and neuroscience related fields.
I deeply have a passion for caring for people, especially children, I spend a lot of time with people meeting them exactly where they are.
