About
I am a first-generation student who is earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry with Honors at William Jewell College, where I hold a 4.0 GPA. Being an undergraduate student, I have received several awards due to excellence in Chemistry and Biochemistry subjects and managing to play NCAA Division II sports, as well as being part of different leadership organizations at William Jewell College. Currently, I act as a Junior Captain of the swim team, Vice President of Tri-Beta Biological Honors Society, Board Member of the Pre-Health Honor Society, and Academic Peer Tutor. In view of the above experiences both academically, professionally, and in terms of leadership, I am geared towards becoming the first individual from my immediate family to join medical school. My ultimate career objective is to become a neurologist and be engaged in research work about Alzheimer’s disease.
