About

I'm just a guy who is trying to find his place in the world & succeed. I'm passionate about my interests, as well as my future profession in nursing. My dad was a firefighter for 37 years, and my mom was an RN (Post-NICU home health) for about that same amount of time as well. Healthcare is in my blood you could say, so I have always had a strong draw towards a job in that field of work. Nursing seems to be where I've landed, or at least where I intend to land. I have learned to keep my head down and work smart & hard to do what needs to be done, but I'm also not afraid to stand up to do the right thing every time, either. I have a strong moral compass, and I value the well being of others. I recognize and understand the weight good healthcare can have for a person, and I'm willing and able to provide such a service to those in need of acute or long-term care.

Goals and interests

Career goal

ADN program @ North Central Texas College. Once I'm graduated and Certified, I plan to work in a hospital for a year or so, to get my feet wet, before venturing into my preferred field of nursing, which is to work with Geriatric patients or patients with IDD.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy nerdy things. Video games, drawing, writing, D&D, etc.
