Killian Womack

To date at the University of Colorado Boulder, I have completed 45 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of 3.56 in the College of Media, Communication, and Information. Although my core curriculum consists of primarily literary-oriented courses, I have taken a handful of classes outside of my major to discover my true interests, including two history classes, a class focused on ethnic relations in poetry, a class about the role of social movements in today's society, a course on the perception of deviance, and much more. For my overall academic performance last year, the Interfraternity Council of Colorado Boulder awarded me a plaque for academic excellence. Within my fraternity, Phi Kappa Psi, I hold two positions on the executive board: Brotherhood Chair and Recording Secretary. With these positions I hope to influence and change my fraternity to to better serve the needs of others, and to reinforce our status as a fellowship of respectful and caring men. For this coming semester I aim to achieve a 4.0 GPA, and hope to attain an internship either in Boulder or abroad for the following summer.
