About

I am a Self- Motivated Human Resources Professional, concentrating on developing and implementing initiatives designed to increase the effectiveness throughout any organization by way of improved utilization of human resources. I am an incoming student enrolled in Arizona State University's master’s in legal studies Spring 2024 program in which I am specializing in corporate law and hold a 3.2 grade point average. I have approximately 7 years of full-time Corporate Human Resources and employment law experience and provide services to a demographically diverse contingent of staff and laborers in the market and community. Most recently I accepted a Director of Human Resources position at just 28 years old, in an effort to direct my professional development toward scholarship, leadership, and professional services, as it is my hope to engage in employment law and supervision subsequent to the completion of my masters. I am also highly involved in SHRM(Society of Human Resources Management), Fred Pryor, and hold a committee chair position in my organization’s Executive Council. I serve as a subject matter expert of human resource functions and advocate for compliance, diversity, and operational workforce effectiveness to promote best practices and implementation.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Ensuing the completion of my master’s degree in legal studies, it is my hope to obtain a role in a firm with a reputation for success in Employment Law. Throughout my experiences as a HR consultant, I plan to serve as a credible source for my clients and identify risks and promote the enhancement of the counseling program in which I become employed via efforts to navigate the risks and legal consequences associated with ever changing labor laws. Second, I desire to supplement my HR management leadership with legal practices in which I will be enabled to integrate progressive labor laws in achieving an optimal degree of compliance in all corporate domains. In particular, I have specific interests regarding the implementation of progressive human resource infrastructure, as I believe such alterations can best meet the needs of the growing labor market and opportunities of attaining increased rates of compliance, equity, diversity, & inclusion. Lastly, it is my goal to continuously facilitate the advancement of the counseling profession and the betterment of corporations as a whole by means of producing proven methods of corporate culture compliance (varying by industry), engaging in local, state, national, and international-level organizational leadership conversations, and operationalizing advocacy initiatives surrounding the advancement of the corporate mindset resulting in a more human experience for our workforce.
