Goals and interests

Career goal

I am open to where the future will take me. Experience anywhere in the field is great experience.
May 2015, I will be working with marine biologists to monitor and tag sea turtles in Costa Rica. My hopes are to pursue a career that allows me to research environmental issues from human impact and ways that such problems may be corrected. Animals are my passion, and as a marine biologist, it will be my duty to educate and inform others on ways that we can better our planet. Working to preserve endangered species, and help animals thrive in their natural habitat are my life-long career goals.

Graduate school interests

After graduating from TWU with a Bachelor's in Biology and minor in History, I will continue my education at A & M Corpus Christi. I plan to earn a Master's in Marine Sciences.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy kayaking on Lake Lewisville, biking, yoga, and reading books or watching movies on anything historical. Rescue is my greatest passion and I truly enjoy fostering, rehabilitating, training, and adopting out dogs and cats.
