About
I grew up in Marin County, CA where I became interested and active in the arts as a child.
I attended Convent of the Sacred Heart High School in San Francisco, where my aspirations to become an artist blossomed even further as I was exposed to shooting and developing photography.
I did my undergraduate studies at Wheaton College in Massachusetts, where I was first introduced to filmmaking. I also began writing in a more serious capacity at this time, taking playwriting, screenwriting and creative writing courses. I became increasingly interested in not only crafting works of art, but also studying the history of filmmaking, literature, theater, and fine arts and took a wide array of critical and cultural studies courses. While at Wheaton I studied abroad at The Film and Television School of the Academy of Preforming Arts (F.A.M.U) in Prague, Czech Republic. Studying at F.A.M.U and living in Prague in general, was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life thus far. I absolutely loved the Czech culture and absorbed as much of it as possible. I also explored a vast amount of Eastern Europe, traveling everywhere from Hungary to Macedonia.
After graduating from Wheaton, I moved to Los Angeles where I began working as a PA on commercials and music videos. I also worked as an intern for the production companies Anonymous Content and Playtone as well as doing a camera department internship at the Camera House. I also partook in the development and production of an independent documentary about stand up comedy.
After working in the film industry for a year, I decided to go back to school for my masters degree, which I will receive in December from the prestigious School of Cinematic Arts at USC.
