Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to use my studies to pursue a career in writing and directing. In the past I've had poems nationally published and have submitted various magazine pieces. Currently my writing is leading me towards novels, short stories, and films. Additionally, I've been using my writing to examine gender politics within various cultures, and to inspire further research through personally directed documentaries. Whether its through my writing or films, I want to create and inspire work that emphasizes the need for global consciousness and social activism.
