Kimberly Smith

Early childhood development is a huge part of my life and I am impacted by it daily, not only in my personal life but in my profession and academic life as well. This journey that I have been on learning about the development of children and everything it entails has taught me so much and helped me raise my child in a better way as well. I am so eager to finish my Associates degree! My stepping stone goals are to work towards becoming a Director at a childcare center where I can also help other teachers and children with strategies and theories I have learned. I would then like to become an interventionist to help children and families with delays and provide them with resources and plans to ensure their child gets the best education they possibly can.
