About

My name is Kimberly Thomas and I am currently a student at the University of Utah studying pre-nursing. I feel like I have come a long way from where I have been. I graduated my High School, Pinnacle Canyon Academy, as the Salutatorian and graduated from the College of Eastern Utah with my Associates in Science during high school. I got married and took a break from school for a couple of years and ended up having two beautiful little girls. I have returned to finish my nursing degree to fulfill my dreams of opening a clinic for Women's Health.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My dream is to get into the University of Utah Nursing School to get my Bachelors and go straight into my Doctorate Degree for Midwifery and Women's Health and specialize in Infertility. After school I would like to open a center to include infertility, Women's Health, and Midwifery. I enjoy creating a place for people to work together and I am excited for the challenge of doing so. I want to have an extraordinary center by offering any service a woman and her family might need for each stage of life.

Graduate school interests

During Grad School I plan to get my doctorate in a dual program, Nurse Midwife and Women's Health. I will also research and have a special focus in infertility

Outside the classroom

I really enjoy cooking with my husband and creating new masterpieces. I like the satisfaction a good homemade dish brings to people and it makes me feel pleased knowing I created their happiness. I also enjoy writing. Not necessarily writing papers, but I enjoy wiriting letters to my kids for when they get older or poems and less formal things.
