About

I am a graduating Environmental Science major earning my associate degree, but my long-term goal is to become a nurse practitioner specializing in caring for children with special needs. Growing up with a brother on the autism spectrum has shown me firsthand how often medical staff lack the training and understanding needed to support these kids. This experience drives my commitment to enter the medical field and become someone who can advocate for, support, and properly care for children with disabilities and their families. I hope to combine compassion, patience, and professional skill to make healthcare more accessible and inclusive for every child.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to become a Nurse Practitioner.

Graduate school interests

I am interested in pursuing graduate studies in nursing, with a focus on becoming a Nurse Practitioner specializing in pediatric and special-needs care. I hope to join a program that emphasizes clinical experience with diverse pediatric populations, patient advocacy, and family-centered care. I am especially drawn to research and training that improve communication, accessibility, and treatment outcomes for children with developmental disabilities. Ultimately, I want to develop the advanced skills needed to provide compassionate, informed, and inclusive healthcare to children with special needs and their families.

Outside the classroom

I like to stunt in cheer-leading, draw/paint and build puzzles, do makeup/nails on family and friends, take care of stray animals I find, cook, bake, and make TikToks.
