Kolby Kennedy

I am currently a Parks and Recreation Management Student at Southwestern Oklahoma Sate University in Weatherford, OK. I am studying to be able to work at or own a christian summer camp. I grew up in Chickasha, OK. My Dad owns a steakhouse in a small town called Amber just outside of Chickasha and my Mom is the assistant principal at Chickasha high highschool. I worked at my dads restaurant for almost 9-10 Years. My parents encouraged me to find something I love to do and learn to make money off of that. I have always grown up going to summer camps so they became a big part of my life. For 12 years I attended Kanakuk Kamps in Missouri and in July 2021 I started working for Kanakuk. When I was a kid I knew what I wanted to be when I got older. I want to be able to share the amazing experiences and be able to help kids find or grow in their faith. From being a camper to a Jr counselor to finally a counselor I've loved all the experiences.
