About

I am a returning college student after 7 years of working in my current field as an LPN. I am pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree and will complete for my RN license. I am currently enrolled and attending William Carey University for a degree completion by spring of 2026. I am an active Licensed Practical Nursing working full time in a nursing home as a Quality Assurance/Infection Control Nurse. I have a strong passion to complete this degree and an amazing support system that is always encouraging me to pursue my dreams of becoming an RN.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path after completion of my BSN and obtaining my RN License will be continuing my education to become a an Antibiotic Steward and a Certified Wound Consultant Nurse. We as nurses are always adapting and learning new things, and education has always been a passion of mine. So having the ability to teach other nurses and help patients regain control of their lives by helping to heal their wounds is a big driver in my life.

Graduate school interests

Currently I do not have any grad school interests. But if I were to return back for higher education in the form of a Masters degree, I would be interested at Mississippi State University or Mississippi University for Women for that degree.
