About
My goal in life has always been to help others, therefore I took that into consideration while searching for my career. I am currently apart of Duquesne University's Accelerated 5 year Physician Assistant program. The first three years of the Physician Assistant program is a rigorous pre-professional phase, where we master the general sciences and other required general courses. The last two years of this program is the professional phase, where we learn more about the profession and earn a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. On top of this challenging major, I play for Duquesne Women's Soccer team. Duquesne is apart of the Atlantic 10 conference and is a Division 1 soccer program. This past year as a freshman, I helped Duquesne Women's Soccer team win the Atlantic 10 conference while maintaining a 3.97 GPA.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
After receiving my Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University, I plan to begin my career in the Emergency Room. I am very driven, hardworking and passionate for helping others; therefore, the fast pace of the Emergency Room will be a good fit for me.
- Outside the classroom
My hobbies include soccer, reading, running and volunteering. Playing for Duquesne Women's Soccer team has become a full time job, between practices, games and traveling. However, our team still manages to find time to volunteer for TopSoccer every few months. TopSoccer is a soccer clinic that we run for young children with disabilities. These clinics have allowed my teammates and I to grow close to these children and their families. It is an honor to help bring a smile to their faces while playing the game that we all love. At college I don't have much time between soccer and studying, but when I do get a few minutes to myself I enjoy going on runs and reading. When I go home for breaks, I come home to my 10 year old twin siblings who love sports as much as me. They both have learning disabilities so I am able to help them with both their school work and their sports. At home I am also a member of our Greek Orthodox Church where I help put our Greek Festival on every year.
