Volunteering

  • :By organizing donations, arranging merchandise throughout the Pilot Club Thrift Store, and assisting customers, I am contributing to the betterment of society. The Pilot Club is a non-profit entity that donates towards causes such as Alzheimer’s Awareness, patients with traumatic brain injuries, and local food pantries. Volunteering, even in seemingly small ways, can make a positive impact for those in need.

    Pilot Club

    Jun 2024 – May 2026

  • This business is a cornerstone for my local community. They generously sponsor charitable causes and bring tourism to our area by hosting special events. I have volunteered at the Fall Festival, Pumpkin Patch, Oktoberfest, BBQ Cook-offs, Holiday Celebrations, and Bingo events. Witnessing families and friends enjoy fellowship helps unite society, providing hope for the future.

    Spoetzl Brewery

    May 2024 – May 2026

  • Volunteering at local events sponsored by this club such as the Kolache Fest directly assists others within the community. As an aspiring Optometrist, the Lions Club is especially dear to my heart because of their charitable donations in providing eyeglasses for underprivileged children and helping to conduct free eye screenings in local schools.

    Lions Club

    Mar 2024 – May 2026

  • This event is heartwarming and inspirational. I look forward to volunteering every year. I am honored to help motivate and promote confidence within and among these young girls at this pageant. This is truly their time to shine. Watching these extraordinary young ladies showcase their talent and zest for life is rewarding beyond words.

    Miss Sparkles Special Needs Pageant

    Aug 2023 – Aug 2025

  • Working long hours in the hot summer sunshine to help those in need was rewarding and meaningful. I helped lead a team of students in restoring and painting a porch, repairing fences, cleaning storage sheds and landscaping. We also worked at a retreat center painting structures, benches and stairs while also landscaping the grounds. The greatest blessing was seeing the expression of gratitude from the citizens that we helped–truly priceless.

    Catholic Heart Work Camp

    Jun 2023 – Jun 2024

  • I am proud to serve through my church by altar serving, working booths at the church picnics, and helping to maintain the church grounds through maintenance and cleaning. I am especially proud when helping to clean the cemetery. My grandfather and other loved ones are buried at the cemetery where I volunteer. I take great pride in making sure the final resting places are maintained and cared for properly.

Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church

    Aug 2022 – May 2026

  • I am proud to volunteer my time and talents to help support the community at events such as the Half Moon Holidays, the annual Car Show, and Christmas in the Park. These fellowship activities help unite us, bringing a smile to our faces and joy in our hearts.

    Chamber of Commerce

    Aug 2022 – May 2026

  • I am proud and blessed to attend to be part of a school community based on faith and virtue. It is an honor to volunteer at a place that helped shape my moral character and gave me a firm foundation based on the principles of integrity, honesty, loyalty and generosity. I graciously “give back” by cleaning and organizing classrooms during the summer months, distributing supplies to teachers, working the annual Fall Festival, preparing and serving plates at meal fundraisers and family events, assisting with Jr. High basketball camps to help younger students reach their potential, and helping out whenever needed with various tasks.
