Kyla Booker

I am an undergrad student trying to establish a creative and needed change in today’s world. Taking my creative mind and realistic mindset to produce something that can help me and many others. This could be a job position, a business, or more. Personally my dream would be to use my writing and storytelling skills combined with my love for the art of image capturing (photography) to spark controversy and discussion. Ultimately life is changing day by day therefore I want to be able to adapt and be able to leave pieces in history that establish a legacy and serve as a reminder that positive change continues and is possible! No matter the current state of society.

I am at Georgia State pursuing a degree in communication. While I am here I plan to take advantage of all the network opportunities and job elevation tools to best position myself for a successful career. I also hope to travel abroad to Korea not only to experience the culture but aid in my journey to learning the language, Korean. Due to me not being that active in extra curricular in high school I am excited to explore many in college. They include team sports, volunteering, clubs, honors society, and much more. I truly want to have a memorable college experience! Though I am not going to push my limits too far and keep my eye on the overall goal, benefits from the education I will receive.
