About
My name is Kyland Antonio Deas, I was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. I am the youngest of three brothers. I went to James Island Charter High School where I attended all honors classes and graduated in the top 10 percent of my graduating class. I also started on the school’s varsity football team and was apart of their chorus program where we would hold concerts and sing the National Anthem before sporting events. After high school, I went on to further my education at Charleston Southern University where I would be the first male on both sides of my family to go to a four-year university. At Charleston Southern University, I would major in Criminal Justice and minor in Political Science were I would graduate with a 3.5 grade point average. During my tenor at CSU, I was able to obtain the Dean’s List award four times and I also graduated with honors (cum laude). In the fall of 2019, I was able to join the brotherhood of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated where I would later be appointed secretary for the undergraduate chapter. In the fall of 2021 I will be attending Liberty University School of Law as an 1L or first year law student
