About

I have received many achievements that make me a great fit for the honor society. I have been in honor/high honor since elementary school receiving straight A's and B's. I was in the All American Scholar yearbook for the years 2010 and 2011, and have been a member of the National Society of High School Scholars since 2011. In my two years at community college, I became a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and held the position as the treasurer. Throughout my schooling I have participated in extracurricular activities such as marching band, jazz band, pep band, show choir, and various groups to help plant life and fundraise money for my high school. In Phi Theta Kappa, I would volunteer for bake sales and trash pick-up day. I volunteer once a month at my church's soup kitchen to feed the homeless and used to volunteer once a week at local animal shelters cleaning cages. While doing all of this, my mind was and is still focused on keeping my grades up to achieve my career goals in the field of animal science. I am a great fit for this honor society because I have made a number of academic achievements, participated in a variety of extracurricular activities, and have been a longtime active member in my community, while still keeping top grades and keeping my mind on my future career.
