Kylie Nicita

I started originally as a Fashion Merchandising student at Oregon State University, but ended up transferring school for multiple reasons, particularly because of the job prospects in that area, and the program was not the right fit for me. I now attend Academy of Art University, and while it took me a semester to adjust to the structure of classes here, I feel like I am learning more now than ever, partially because I love the classes, but I also just feel so motivated. My classes are very creative and project based, I often have to think outside the box, work in groups, or work with different artistic mediums to create a dynamic project. These classes give me opportunities to create work that I would probably be doing in my future career. I work nearly full time at the same time as being a full time student, and still have been able to maintain all A’s and A-‘s after the first semester.
