Lance C Bowley

My name is Lance Bowley, originally from New England but now living near Ann Arbor, Michigan. I have a loving wife and have been blessed with a lovely daughter who is ten months old. I have three Bachelor degrees and a Masters, having been an Associate Professor and High School Teacher at an earlier time in my life. Recently, I acquired my Green Belt in Healthcare and Black Belt in Lean/Six Sigma. Currently, I work for Orchid Orthopedics Solutions which is the largest sub-supplier in the world for surgical implants. It has 14 divisions world wide, from forging, coating, designing, plastics and everything orthopedic. I am a Quality Associate/Internal Auditor being responsible for all quality on the floor as well as writing/creating procedures. I conduct final audits on all products, perform sign-off, review quality on the floor and responsible for plant wide training. I am currently being trained for the Lean Manager Succession Plan and if that does not happen, I am looking forward to a career change. I hope that the MBA I am pursuing will provide opportunities for a successful career change. Motto is to do your job to the best of your ability for the right reasons.
