Goals and interests
- Career goal
I want to peruse a job that allows me to be part of the Engineering design process from start to finish. This job will allow me to use Solid Works design methods and the ability to do some work in the field as well.
To get to this point I would intern for a company that will be able to show me the full scale engineering process for a product. I will likely be trained on the entire process of how products are taken from drawings to real life so I apply the proper design methods. Once I finish my internship I want to work with other engineers for that company to design better, more advanced, and cheaper versions of their products.- Graduate school interests
I want to get my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and Associates in Architecture.
I also want to play a role in Greek life, being part of a fraternity in order to build connections for later expense in the work force and obtain a high level of social excellence.- Outside the classroom
My parents are real-estate investors and we remodel and renovate houses. I enjoy designing potential new layouts for the houses and being able to build them with my dad, who is also a Mechanical Engineer. This process is rewarding as I get to see something I created on paper become reality.
Also, I am fluent at playing violin, guitar, and ukulele. In my free time I enjoy learning, creating, and playing songs on these instruments.
I also like to stay active by going to the gym and playing sports with friends; mainly basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
