About

I am a returning adult student who is determined to meet my educational goals, despite the challenges that come with the process at my age. I attend school part time at Baltimore City Community College and work full time at Johns Hopkins University during the day. I am pursuing an A.A. degree in Humanities & Social Sciences (Psychology transfer pattern), with plans to enroll in a 4 year college in the fall of 2017 (most likely Drexel) majoring in Psychology. My long term goal is to become a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) or a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC). I am genuinely interested in helping to erase the stigma that comes with mental illness and to aid others on their mental health journey.
