About

I am currently a Social Work student at University of Texas at Arlington. I am studying to work with children and families of all backgrounds. I pursued a certification in Diversity also this pass semester that will help me with more of an understanding of different cultures. I am goal oriented and very passionate about the gifts and talents that I have been blessed with!

My ultimate desire is to be of help as well as a blessing to those that cross my path. I was afforded a second chance in life and I want to help others not to just get where I am now but further.

I love working with people and my heart longs to be a servant to all. I learned about "The Ministry of Helps" as a child from my parents (they are Pastors) and I've longed to be in a position where I can be of help to those that just need a helping hand, a listening ear or a giant push.

My degree will be utilized to benefit my children and those GOD sees fit. I'm a testimony and giving back only blesses me more. I have joined many of clubes such as Parents Helping Parents, Empowering Women, Women in New Roles, Visions Unlimited
Abuse and Violence Prevention Organization, History Club, International Students Association, (AASO) African American Student Organization, Christians On Campus, The Main Street, Trinity River Work Study, PhiThetaKappa-BetaSigmaMu and Sigma Kappa Delta all since January 2014 and now National Honor Society since January 2015.
