About

I am studying Early Childhood Education at Roosevelt University. Before that, my time at Kennedy King College laid a foundation for my education and deepened my passion for working with young children. My hands-on experience teaching infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, which I have gained over five years, has allowed me to build into a more capable individual. All these aspects have been practical for me: I understand patience and creativity are very important; every single child is a different person and should be encouraged to grow. It has also made me more committed to establishing a nurturing educational setting that provides the opportunity for young learners to grow. I hope that having my studies and practical experiences can help contribute to making a change in children’s and families’ lives, preparing them for a bright future.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to achieve a better ground in early childhood and young children’s education. The time when a child grows most is the early years and they are the time when a child will develop emotionally, cognitively, and socially – for this reason, it is very important to be able to grasp the basic contents of early childhood development. I would like to bring everything I learnt working at university together to create learning environments in which young learners — individual and group — will feel secure and nurtured. It will enable kids to achieve their potential in a wide variety of ways: learning through play, learning with peers, and through play-based skills and development. I want to influence the lives of the future generations and work to provide lifelong opportunities for learning by creating a foundation to help with their growth and development.
