About

I am a mother, homeschool educator, self-published author, blogger, and lifelong learner currently pursuing my bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus, where I earned a 4.0 GPA during my first semester.

My professional journey includes founding Alluvial Business Consulting & Writing Services and earning certifications in Reiki, Canva, and journal therapy coaching.

Through my blog, Something Nubian, I share personal experiences, explore different perspectives, and encourage readers to question, learn, and grow. I am also developing Inner-G Scholars Academy, a holistic homeschool curriculum inspired by my experiences teaching my children.

Returning to college at age 50 has renewed my confidence and strengthened my commitment to creating educational resources that reflect diverse experiences.

I believe learning is a lifelong journey, and I hope my work encourages others to continue pursuing their goals, regardless of where they are in life.
