Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to assist teachers with emotionally-behaviorally-disturbed students. The system places unfair pressure and demands on these teachers that are already dealing with many challenges and obstacles on a daily basis and trying to teach while having violent and disruptive students in the classroom is entirely unfair to all at stake. My doctorate studies and papers have been devoted to the understanding of the disruptive student and their current environments and implementing change to create a more stable and calming learning environment for all stakeholders. I want to continue to pursue a career in teacher mentoring, administration and/or professional development.

Graduate school interests

I am currently a doctorate-level student and will begin the dissertation process in the fall. I am currently out of loan money due to hitting the cap of that attaining my bachelor's, master's, and educational specialist degree.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and especially cooking and creating recipes. I used to be a personal chef, but now, I enjoy cooking for friends and family.
