Laura Worthington

I am currently a freshman at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. Along with being a student at Franklin College, I am an athlete and a sister. I'm involved with the Franklin College Track and Field team along with the Delta Delta Delta sorority. Both organizations have helped me become a better person and a better leader. At Franklin College, my field of study is physical education with a minor in coaching. My field of study was originally exercise science with a path towards the master's degree for athletic training and a possible minor in creative writing. I switched, because I didn't know if I would be happy being an athletic trainer after graduate school. I did believe I would be happy being a PE teacher and a coach and be more connected with the athletes as a coach and the students as a PE teacher. Franklin College is helping me become the person I want to be by challenging myself to work harder and to be better and get better throughout my college years.
