About
I am a dedicated professional from the Midwest, with roots in a region known for its strong work ethic and community values. My journey in accounting began in the early 2000s, where I developed a passion for numbers, financial analysis, and helping businesses thrive. Over the years, I have honed my skills and expertise, balancing a career and personal life with resilience and determination.
As the spouse of a Navy service member, I have embraced the challenges and opportunities that come with a life of service and mobility. Each experience has enriched my perspective and fueled my commitment to achieving my academic and professional goals.
Today, I am incredibly proud to be on the path to earning my degree, a milestone that represents both personal growth and professional advancement. This journey is not just about fulfilling a dream but also about setting an example of perseverance and dedication.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
My goal is to earn my CPA and establish a trusted business that serves and supports my community. I am committed to providing reliable financial guidance and fostering strong, lasting relationships with local businesses and individuals. Through dedication and integrity, I aim to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those around me.
- Graduate school interests
My passion for accounting drives my pursuit of advanced studies in this field. In grad school, I am eager to deepen my understanding of complex financial systems, enhance my analytical skills, and explore cutting-edge practices in the accounting profession. My goal is to leverage this knowledge to excel in my career and contribute to the development of ethical and effective financial practices within the industry
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I enjoy a range of activities that keep me balanced and inspired. Hiking allows me to connect with nature and maintain a healthy lifestyle, while reading fuels my passion for continuous learning. My travels, which have taken me coast to coast, have enriched my understanding of diverse cultures and perspectives. I also have a love for cooking and baking, where I can express creativity in the kitchen, and I enjoy planning parties, which allows me to bring people together and celebrate life's moments.
