To develop, explore, and learn how to become a better educator both in my field of mathematics and in the classroom.
Educators should always be students. The more we learn the more we have to offer. The world, society, the course standards, our students, will always be changing and we must adapt to meet the needs and reach out to them.- Outside the classroom
Basketball has always been my passion, along with helping others. I played my entire life, usually for more than one team. I could never get enough, always involved in camps, leagues, and teams year round. I played two years at St Louis Community College and we competed nationally, becoming a nationally ranked team. This competitive drive overflows into my professional life as well. Fueling my love to help every student see their own potential academically. I have an American Eskimo named Stella, who I love watching grow and learn. Stella is Latin for "star" which perfectly reflects her bright charismatic personality.
