About
I am passionate about helping children and adults reach their full potential through education, mentorship, and individualized support. Throughout my career, I have worked as a teacher and instructional assistant with students in kindergarten through fourth grade, providing academic instruction and fostering positive learning experiences. In addition, I have served as a mentor for students in grades six through eight, helping them develop confidence, leadership skills, and academic success strategies.
My experience also includes working with girls ages 10 to 18 in STEM programs, where I encouraged exploration, problem-solving, and engagement in science and technology fields. Additionally, I have provided tutoring and academic support to learners ranging from ages 6 to 22, adapting instruction to meet a wide variety of learning needs and abilities.
I am dedicated to helping others succeed and believe that every learner has unique strengths and potential. I enjoy thinking creatively and developing innovative instructional approaches that make learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful. My goal is to create supportive environments where individuals feel valued, empowered, and capable of achieving their personal and academic goals. Through education, mentorship, and advocacy, I strive to make a positive and lasting impact on the lives of those I serve.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My long-term career goal is to work in special education at the high school or community college level, where I can support students with diverse learning needs and help them achieve academic and personal success. Upon completing my bachelor’s degree, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in Special Education to further expand my knowledge, leadership skills, and professional opportunities.
In addition to teaching, I am interested in pursuing leadership and administrative roles within the field of special education. My career aspirations include managing a special education department, serving as a program coordinator, or overseeing a facility that provides educational and support services for individuals with disabilities. I am passionate about advocating for students, supporting educators, and creating inclusive learning environments that promote growth and success for all learners.
- Graduate school interests
After earning my bachelor’s degree in Special Education, I plan to pursue a master’s degree to further develop my expertise in evidence-based instructional practices, educational leadership, and special education services. Graduate study will provide me with advanced knowledge and skills that will enhance my ability to meet the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities. Additionally, obtaining a master’s degree will prepare me for future leadership opportunities, such as serving as a special education coordinator, department chair, program administrator, or director of special education services. I am committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, and I view graduate school as an important step toward expanding my impact on students, families, educators, and school communities.
