About
My name is Lauren Smith and I am a Senior at The University of North Texas. I am pursuing a BS/MS degree in Accounting and will sit for the CPA and CIA examinations following graduation in December of 2017. I currently work on campus at Barnes and Noble at UNT and I am a Expert in Textbooks and work on Accounting as well. I am very involved on campus and participate in many organizations and extracurricular activities. I am Secretary of the organization Women in Business, Secretary of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society, a member of the Community Service and Fundraising Committee for Delta Epsilon Iota, and I am Captain of a couple different Intramural sports teams. Off of campus I participate in Denton's Social Run Club and play on a Softball team for Denton's Softball League. Even though I am very busy I enjoy reading, working out, and writing when I have free time. I have participated in many 5K's and will complete the Spartan Trifecta in 2015.
