Education

Career goal: I want to become a math teacher. I will earn my associate degree in mathematics in the summer of 2025, and then I plan to work towards a bachelors in education.
Graduate school interests: I am interested to earn a masters in education or school administration.
Outside the classroom: I do not have a lot of free time because I am very dedicated to earning my associate degree in mathematics from Tulsa Community College. When I do have free time, I often volunteer at Sapulpa schools. I help with everything ranging from room changes to student schedule pick-up to teacher internship. When I am at home, I prioritize my mental and physical health by reading and exercising. These activities recharge my battery, so I am more productive when I am at school.

Junior High Teacher Intern

I am currently interning with a remedial 8th grade class. I am creating a lesson plan, implementing the lesson, and evaluating the results of the lesson at least once a week.

Elementary Teacher Intern

I am currently interning with a 4th grade math teacher. Although I am not teaching the entire class yet, I do lots of one-on-one help with students and assist in general classroom management.

I was on the leadership team of my high school band and was the main person in charge of the Drumline.

I volunteer at my high school often. I have done multiple projects with school leadership and teachers to set up for teacher room changes, schedule pick-up, building demolition, and graduation.
