About

I'm Lauriane, an international student studying Architecture at the University of the District of Columbia in Washington DC. I am from Chad in Central Africa and I came here after high school to realize my dream because the United States got a lot of opportunities that one needs to be successful. I am the first child of two children in the family. My parents are back in my country, working so that they support me here. As I was growing up, I was always amazed by the type of buildings around me. Sometimes when I pass through the city, I'd stop, just to admire the way buildings are designed and try to picture how it would be if they did x instead of y or if they swap x and y.... I'm fascinated by the design of buildings so I said to myself that the world should also take advantage of these incredible ideas I have. My goal is to become an Architect known through the originality of my designs. I'm doing my Bachelor in Architecture now, and will sure keep going to the Master. I intend also to do interior architecture and construction. management.
