About

I'm currently enrolled at URI as an undergraduate student, where I am pursuring a B.S. in Civil Engineering. I've recently joined the American Society of Civil Engineers where I am looking forward to contributing to the design and construction of a concrete canoe for the competition this spring. During my first two years at URI I struggled with particular courses which, unfortunately, resulted in my GPA becoming lower than I would have wished. Now that I am a junior, my grades and work ethic have improved significantly - recieving almost entirely all A's and B's, and I have every intention of continuing these improvements.

Goals and interests

Career goal

Specifically, I find geotechnical and environmental engineering both extremely intriguing, though I have not entirely decided what field I intend to pursue when I receive my degree.

Graduate school interests

I have intentions of attending grad school, and I would love to return to URI as a graduate student, but since I am only in my third year I have not entirely looked into other options that could possibly interest me more.

Outside the classroom

During the school semesters I spend most of my time doing work involved with my major. I am an active person, who comes from a very large family. I played soccer my entire childhood up until I was a senior in high school where I was captain for the women's varsity soccer team. I love to cook, spend time with friends and family, and just enjoy the simple things in life.
