About
In general, I would not say I am a super excellent college student, but I think I am an excellent learner. I'm always so eager of knowledge and so curious about new stuff. College is not the end of my learning. Learning is an endless process for me, just like an old Chinese proverb says, "Live till old, learn till old".

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to become a Chinese language educator. I hope I can share my language studying experience with Chinese learners who find Chinese very difficult. I want to make Chinese an easier language for foreigners to learn.
- Graduate school interests
Although I have not decided which graduate school I'm going to, I want to focus on applied linguistics, language learning and education. I might be going to study at a graduate school in another country.
- Outside the classroom
I have a variety of hobbies. I have a particular passion in studying foreign languages. Even if I don't always have teachers, I still buy textbooks or download audios so that I can teach myself. Aside from foreign languages, I am also interested in ancient Chinese and oracle bone scripts. I hope I can decipher ancient Chinese scripts on my own. I like music too, especially classic music and music from other cultures. I have been playing the piano since the age of 12. I like trying different instruments from other ethnic groups. Reading is the theme of my life. I enjoy reading memoirs and journals because I can experience what I have not experienced an see what I have not seen from the books.
