About

I am a dedicated healthcare professional and student committed to serving my community with compassion, integrity, and purpose. I am graduating from SNHU and continuing my nursing education at Chamberlain University, where I am building the skills to become a strong and empathetic future nurse.

In my hybrid role as both an Administrative Assistant and Patient Care Technician, I support patients and families while balancing clinical and administrative responsibilities. This experience has strengthened my ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and provide care with patience and understanding.

I am also actively involved in community service through Luv Michael, where I advocate for autistic adults and help promote inclusion and awareness. Giving back to others is a core part of who I am, and I strive to make a positive impact wherever I can.

My goal is to continue growing in the healthcare field, serve vulnerable populations, and use my voice and skills to uplift my community.

Experience

  • patient care technician

I work as a Patient Care Technician in a fast‑paced dialysis setting, where I perform patient assessments, cannulate AV fistulas and grafts, initiate and monitor hemodialysis treatments, and document all clinical data in real time. I ensure patient safety by following strict infection‑control standards, machine setup and disinfection procedures, and emergency response protocols. I collaborate closely with nurses, dietitians, and social workers to support high‑quality patient care while building trusting relationships with patients who rely on dialysis multiple times per week.
