About

My name is Lhevinne (Vinnie) Joseph a sophomore from Luther College. I am originally from the Bahamas. I am aspiring to be a computer science major with a minor in visual Communications. I am also a track and field athlete specializing in the 800m and 400m races with times of 1:56 mins and 50.68 secs. I believe that it is possible to be successful both academically and athletically. Luther College is a liberal arts college so it is required to take course outside of my major, so I am used to the variety I'm faced with and want to continue being a citizen with multiple skills.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I am a second year student at Luther College, it may be considered indecisive to not know exactly where you want to work; I at a point where I have a basic idea but still want to expand my knowledge. Since Luther college is a liberal arts institution I have the opportunity to explore different courses while I'm there. This may sound impossible but I still have the dream to be a professional track and field athlete in the 800m and 400m races and represent my country once again on an international level. To be blunt my mind is set towards being a computer scientist and/or a film editor, but for now I am not going to put a limit on other things I could learn. If limiting myself to one career path is considered getting my life together then I'm still indecisive in that sense.

Graduate school interests

I indeed want to attend grad school that focuses on technology, but because of my financial situation I do not have a distinct answer. For me and my family any Grad school would be ideal since I would be the first to have make it that far.

Outside the classroom

Personally I love to listen to music and make my own, (vocal editing), I'm a track and field athlete which means I exercise daily but i take it very seriously as well as a hobby. swimming, bike riding, I read temporarily and do small video editing.
