About

Since I arrived in the United States, it has been my goal to improve my personal and professional life. In the Havana, Cuba, I was studying the career of Business Administration in the Instituto Superior Politecnico "Jose Antonio Escherichia." I was finishing the second year when the opportunity to move to the United States shows up. I finished the school year, but I knew that that might be a "one-time" opportunity, so I took it. On August 12 of the same year (2014) I was flying to Florida, and my goal was to graduate from one of the best business universities in America. It took me two years to start college, yet I cannot say that it was a waste of time. I needed that time to improve my language and to expand my professional skills. I must say that it was not easy, but it was what I needed. My first job was at McDonald's as a cashier. I only stay there for a few months because I moved to Texas, but during that time I even learned what a Happy meal was. After I had moved to Texas one of the places that impress me the most was the AT&T Stadium (The Cowboys Stadium), so my first job in the state was there. It was an incredible opportunity to meet new people, watch breathtaking concerts, and learn how great football was since my job was been a runner (walk around the stadium checking that my companions and the public were OK). Despite that I loved been there, the job was part time. Therefore, I keep looking for a full-time position, and I found it in a company named Stitch Fix. I stay there for a year and six months, and in the meantime, I was taking work and school English classes which were great. I quit the job because I needed to focus on my classes full time, and I made it a purpose of finishing with college in 1 year. At the moment that is what I'm doing, and so far everything is working out right.
