About

Hello! My name is Lillian Keh and I am a prospective graduate student for New York University’s clinical psychology program. I received my bachelor’s degree at Pepperdine University with a major in psychology and a minor in sociology.

I come from an immigrant household, where my parents are co-founders of a small clinic that primarily offers services in acupuncture and integrative medicine. Through this family-work dynamic, I gained firsthand experience of how psychological stress can acutely impair our physiological well-being. Their work deeply inspired me to study and investigate the various frameworks of psychology.

In undergraduate school, I co-founded the Pepperdine Intersectional Feminist Club and worked as a campus ambassador for Namchak, a non-profit organization that introduces Tibetan Buddhist meditative techniques to the Western world. Effectively balancing leadership responsibilities within on-campus clubs and demanding coursework, I meticulously organized my schedule, prioritized tasks, and maintained open communication to ensure both areas received the attention they deserved.

Shortly after graduating, I started working as a Developmental Client Coach and Registered Behavior Technician for youth with autism and other developmental conditions. I am expected to start my MA program at NYU in Fall 2023. With the skills acquired through graduate studies, my objective is to continue running and expanding the clinic my family started and to facilitate meditative spaces in schools of underserved and diverse communities.
