My ultimate career goal is to run a nonprofit organization. With this nonprofit organization, the main objective is to help children and young adults on their mental health journeys through the power of the arts. Through this organization, I would like to begin to integrate art therapy into schools, normalizing mental health awareness and giving children who wouldn't ordinarily have the opportunity to receive mental health counseling, the help they need. My main goal is to have a facility that offers all kinds of counseling including art therapy, as well as a safe environment for community children to get involved in the arts and develop hobbies and passions that will keep them from being at risk for harming themselves or others. The nonprofit organization when realized would offer counseling, classes, job and volunteer opportunities for community children and young adults giving them access to things like a music studio, an art room, a dance studio etc. as well as the tools to explore the art world and themselves.
