About

I am a dedicated and ambitious student who is passionate about pursuing a career in healthcare and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As a senior in high school, I am currently attending the Poplar Bluff Technical Career Center, where I am completing a Health Occupations (CNA) program and working toward earning my certification. After graduation, I plan to attend Three Rivers College to pursue my Registered Nursing (RN) license, with the goal of furthering my education at the University of Missouri. Growing up in a family connected to the medical profession, along with my personal experiences navigating life with Type 1 diabetes, has strengthened my passion for healthcare and given me a unique appreciation for the care and compassion medical professionals provide. I am committed to my education, personal growth, and long-term goals, and I strive to build a future that reflects both my passion for the medical field and my determination to become an independent, successful woman.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My career goal is to become a Registered Nurse (RN) and provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients. I plan to continue my education in the medical field, expand my knowledge and skills, and make a positive difference in the lives of others. I hope to build a successful and fulfilling career that allows me to help my community while achieving personal and financial independence.

Graduate school interests

My graduate school interests are focused on furthering my education in the medical field and expanding my knowledge of healthcare. I am passionate about patient care and committed to strengthening my understanding of medicine through dedicated studying, continued education, and hands-on clinical practice. I hope to gain the knowledge and experience necessary to grow as a healthcare professional and provide compassionate, high-quality care to others. My long-term goal is to continue advancing my education in nursing and develop the skills needed to make a lasting impact in the medical field.

Outside the classroom

Outside of school, I enjoy staying active through working out and hiking, as well as expressing my creativity through making crafts. I enjoy exploring new places, trying new things, and making the most of new experiences. I would describe myself as a reliable, respectful, and easygoing person who enjoys making others laugh and bringing a positive energy to the people around me. I value opportunities to step outside of my comfort zone, stay active, and enjoy life while continuing to grow as an individual.
