Linda Nakazwe

My name is Linda Nakazwe and I am a nursing student at Laguardia Community College, Queens, New York. I am originally from Zambia which is the south central of Africa. In my country, I worked as a travel consultant selling air tickets, travel packages and safari tours. Later I decided to travel to the state and continue working in a travel agent until i became a victim of crime. I am a head injury survival and lost memory but sent myself to college and learned all the subjects that was needed to be a nurse. I am enrolled at Laguardia Community College pursing Practical Nursing Program to learn about people in need and care that I can offer.The more I learned the more I gained more knowledge and alert. In addition, I worked with a home health care agency and several nursing homes where I got more experience working with patients with different needs. I assisted the patients taking weights, ambulating, feeding and grooming. furthermore, I enrolled full time in school and took a job at the college as part Anatomy and physiology tutor. I enjoy working as tutor because i can learn more and give back to my fellow students
