About
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Cumberlands, where I recently transferred from SNHU, and I continue to build on my academic foundation. I have a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and addiction and disease awareness. My long-term goal is to grow into a Program Director role where I can help shape supportive, accessible resources for families in need. My academic journey is driven by empathy, resilience, and a passion for creating change in communities.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Addiction and Mental Health Support Counselor, ultimately finishing out my academic career as Program Director.
- Graduate school interests
Master's in Addiction Counseling, focusing on substance use disorders and recovery programs for small rural areas, as well as Rare Disease Advocacy at the University of Kentucky.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy reading, learning anything and everything that I can, painting, yoga, making others' lives better, advocating, fundraising, writing children's books, cooking, my kids, walking, rescuing amimals and saving as many as I can, blogging, crafting. I used to love to hunt and fish, but when I was diagnosed with Turban Tumor Syndrome, it slowed me down immensely and I had to give up my passions.
