About
Hello,
My name is Lisa, I am a single mother of three children and seven grandchildren. I worked in Early Childhood Education for many years while my children attended. I switched careers after the birth of my last child to the Medical field. I have worked at a job I love for many years, Dialysis. I wanted to give more so I signed back to school to become Nurse. While in school, Covid attacked us and my second born son Aaron was murdered. I took some time off from school and started working on my new life. This has been a tough journey and I am back in school to help support other on their journeys. I believe we need to help one another along the way when needed.

- Career goal
I am working towards a degree as a Social worker with a degree in psychology.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to help those in need of help with grief and how to live with it. I would like to create a program for children and families that offers different types of support and coping skills for life’s challenges.

I enjoy music, art for relaxation and binge television.
I have basic sign language skills.
