About
My name is Liya Dostie, and I am an 18-year-old highschool senior. I was born in Washington state, although I currently live in South Carolina.
I am immensely interested in biological sciences, and I am determined to make a positive difference in animal welfare. I am an intern at Roper Mountain Science Center, where I handle a variety of marine animals, invertebrates, and reptiles. I love having the opportunity to enlighten guests on biological processes while shining God's light in the scientific world. In the future, I intend to put my energy into marine/wildlife rehabilitation and veterinary work. Every individual animal matters, and I can directly protect the earth's ecosystems by rescuing, protecting, and treating many different species.
